Biography:
Before joining the law firm of BaskinFleece, Attorneys at Law, B. Joseph Kurek II served as a Captain in the Air Force Judge Advocate General's Corps. As a JAG, Mr. Kurek began his career prosecuting military court-martial cases and civilian cases in Federal Magistrate's Court as a Special Assistant United States Attorney. Later, Mr. Kurek served as a military defense attorney providing legal counsel to criminal defendants at six bases throughout Florida. While in the Air Force, Mr. Kurek advised retirees, reservists and active duty personnel on various estate planning issues, drafted estate planning documents and lectured on the topic. Mr. Kurek focuses his practice at Baskin Fleece on the areas of probate, trust, and fiduciary litigation, administration, and estate planning.
